Royston Jones

All these works are derived from a five year old boys drawings of the weapons of war. The drawings have been manipulated, resized and then worked over with a variety of media.

The original line drawings are used as a basis for the paintings and drawings. The concepts of war as seen by a young boy and the horrors that those weapons will perpetrate is significant even though the colours are arbitrary and come from Royston's use of colour in interior design and photography.
